Adam is a grizzled veteran of the Twin Cities music scene, playing in bands here since 1987. After twelve years on the road with touring world-beat band Boiled in Lead, he settled into Irish mode with local act The Tim Malloys. With the Tims gigs slowing (they got old), he joined Purgatory Creek. He is a blistering lead guitarist in any style you can name, and takes turns on the bass, as well.
Highlights at gigs include raucous vocals on the auto-biographical “You’re My Girl” and old standard “Sixteen Tons,” as well as the times he gets to “stretch out” on improvisational lead breaks.
